GA!
I founded Geschiedenis Actueel (GA!) to bring historical thinking into current debates and give students and young professionals a platform to shape public discourse. What began as a small initiative grew into a national think tank, producing publications, events, and high-level dialogues with policymakers and scholars. The experience of building GA! laid the foundation for Abrial HDS, expanding that same commitment to contextual intelligence into the strategic realm, where history informs decision-making at the highest level.
Participation in (inter-)national Conferences
Through the foundation I founded, I collaborated, organized and participated in international and national conferences, working with major partners like the Clingendael Institute and international partners such as academics from the University of Complutense de Madrid. Gathering students, academics and policy makers, those conferences and meetings always favour dialogue and an exchange of knowlegde.
Magazine and Consultancy for Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, KIEM.
Through GA! I’m engaged in the production of a seventh-parted research magazine on the subject The Resilience of the Netherlands in Historical and International Perspective for September 2025. This is complimented by an international consultancy on best practices.
